Kiss and Tale
So, I am starting to enjoy analyzing research articles and typing up an analysis. I believe I have the hang of reading an article and disseminating the information in order to pull out the necessary info needed. After finding a dozen articles for my next capstone artifact, I believe I have the confidence now to complete the work, which has definitely cut down on the stress. Thankfully, I was able to choose a topic I find myself passionate about in Digital Citizenship and the literacies entailed, which brings me to the research article I will be discussing today. The article I will be discussing didn't provide much new information as I feel their hypothesis was something I believed to be somewhat obvious, but after some scientific testing, I was left with data that can be used for building a foundation for myself in future work.

Another One Writes The Dust
The article I chose to analyze and write about more or less argues that students have a need in learning digital literacies for becoming positive digital citizens, and schools should be providing the resources through integrating digital citizenship into the curriculum. The conducted research tested teachers and their students to create generalizations for populations by looking at teacher and student awareness in literacies such as usage, communication, safety, and responsibility, ultimately finding that teachers have a higher awareness than learners. With these findings, the researcher suggests that because of their findings, schools should now integrate digital civility into the curriculum because it is a basic student need now that we live in a digital society where technology use is the norm.

After all is Read and Done
Because of the results found in this research, I will be able to lay out a data based foundation of the importance of learning digital citizenship and the literacies it entails. I am looking forward to developing further research writings as I review more research literature in the future. I am gaining excitement for my capstone artifact as it looms in the near future, and I cannot wait to share this experience with you.
